New pricing bands for 2019

Happy December everyone!  I can’t believe it has come around so quickly, it doesn’t feel like 5 minutes since we were busy running round getting ready for our first Christmas at Barend Holiday Village.  We’re in full swing round here, getting the Christmas decorations out and finishing off the swimming pool renovations.  Then we can jump into 2019 ready for a New Year and all the adventures that will bring, including our new pricing bands!

New Pricing in 2019

As part of our changes for 2019 we have looked into our pricing structure.  As many of our return visitors will know, all our lodges are individually owned.  This means every one is unique and there is something suitable for everyone; families, friends, couples and different price brackets.  To further support this we have therefore altered our pricing structure for 2019.  Three and four star lodges already have different prices, as does the smaller lodge and the cabins.  However, we felt that the range of 3 star lodges is vast and some are more popular than others (because of their view, sleeping configuration, number of showers and other reasons).  Therefore we have made 2 pricing bands within the 3 star lodges for next year.  We hope this will help people choose accommodation that is best suited to them and their budget.

Our accommodation is independently graded by Visit Scotland’s Quality Assurance Scheme against set criteria (see our earlier blog post on what they look for here).
