To help you planning your Barend stay here are a few of our most frequently asked questions … we’ll be adding to these all the time.

We don’t currently offer a blanket discount; however you could have a look at our Lodge of the Week category to see what’s available at the moment.

Also, at off peak times we have a Couples Discount – that’s 10% discount on lodges booked only for 2 people. This discount will be applied when you choose your lodge and change the number of people staying to 2 and is not available in conjunction with any other offer.

Other than that keep your eye on our Special Offers page … you never know!

Each of of the Barend Holiday lodges is privately owned and pricing depends upon when you stay, the duration of your stay and how many are in your party.

From 2019 we have 3 main pricing categories: 4 star lodges, superior 3 star lodges and standard 3 star lodges so there is something for every price range!

  • When you book your Barend holiday a 20% deposit is payable
  • Full payment is then due 4 weeks before your holiday, but don’t worry we’ll remind you
  • If booking within 4 weeks of your holiday the whole cost is due.

When you book your Barend Holiday you’ll pay a deposit, or if you’ve booked with Reception, be sent a deposit request – that request will have a link to take you to our Secure Payment Page.

Around four weeks before your holiday you’ll be sent a request for the holiday balance with the same link.
